Executive Function

Coaching

Executive Function Coaching is a holistic approach to personal growth that goes beyond academics to encompass all areas of life. Whether it’s managing time, staying organized, building routines, or regulating emotions, this coaching meets clients where they are—both mentally and physically. By tailoring strategies to individual needs, we help clients develop practical skills that improve focus, reduce overwhelm, and create balance across academics, work, and daily life. Our goal is to empower clients with tools to thrive independently, using their unique strengths to overcome challenges and achieve success on their terms.

Holistic and Hands-on Approach

Our coaching goes beyond academics, addressing all areas of life to foster independence and growth. We meet clients where they are—mentally and physically—providing hands-on support in real-world environments to build confidence and practical skills.

parent support and collaboration

Our coaching includes regular updates and collaboration with parents to help them better understand how to support their young adults. We bridge the gap between coaching sessions and home life to ensure a cohesive approach.

16-week Commitment

By committing to a 16-week coaching plan, you ensure consistent, guaranteed support for the entire semester. This structure allows for meaningful progress and the development of sustainable habits that align with the academic calendar.

  • To make coaching accessible, we offer the following payment options:

    • Weekly Payments: $125 per session, with payments due the following Friday.

    • Upfront Payment: Commit to the full 16-week semester by paying $3,750 upfront, which includes two sessions free.

Regardless of your payment option, there is a commitment to coaching for the entire 16-week duration to ensure consistent support and progress.

We also offer a sliding scale for eligible clients to ensure financial accessibility. Clients adding on Academic Coaching can enjoy a 5% discount for bundling services, making it easier to access comprehensive and tailored support.

  • Our Executive Function Coaching program is designed as a 16-week commitment to provide consistent, reliable support throughout the academic semester. This structure ensures:

    • Skill Building Over Time: Progress is best achieved through steady, focused sessions that allow time to develop and refine critical skills.

    • A Holistic Approach: Coaching goes beyond immediate academic needs to address personal growth, time management, and emotional regulation.

    • Guaranteed Availability: Committing upfront ensures you have consistent access to coaching, even during peak academic times.

  • We understand that life doesn’t always align perfectly with the calendar. That’s why we offer flexible entry points for mid-semester joiners.

    • Joining at the Start: Clients starting at the beginning of the semester commit to the full 16 weeks, receiving support from the first day through finals.

    • Mid-Semester Joiners: For students joining after the semester has begun, we guarantee consistent coaching from the point of entry through finals, regardless of how many weeks remain.

    Example:

    • If you join in Week 6, you’ll receive 10 weeks of coaching through finals.

    • You can also choose to renew your commitment in the next semester for continued growth and support.

  • At Pathway to Independence, we collaborate with parents to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Parents and clients have unlimited access to my number and email at no cost, allowing quick questions, updates, or advice without additional charges. You are only billed for coaching sessions and more formal parent updates. Communication is flexible, tailored to your needs—we can meet weekly for consistent updates or as infrequently as once a month. Included in the coaching program is the Parent’s Guidebook to First-Year College Students, a comprehensive resource offering practical tips and strategies for navigating the transition to college alongside your young adult. This personalized approach combines clear communication, strategic planning, and collaborative support, helping your young adult build the independence and skills they need to thrive in college and beyond. For more information or to schedule a consultation, feel free to reach out!

  • At Pathway to Independence, we offer both in-person and virtual coaching sessions to ensure flexibility and accessibility. While virtual sessions are always an option, we prefer to meet in person in the client’s environment whenever possible for the most effective and tailored coaching experience.

    In-Person Coaching Locations

    • CU Boulder Students: Sessions can be held on campus or in nearby locations convenient for the client.

    • Front Range Community College Students: We meet in person at the Westminster, Fort Collins, and Longmont campuses.

    • Colorado State University Students: Sessions are available on campus or in nearby settings.

    • High School Students: Meetings can take place at a coffee shop, library, or the student’s home with a guardian present.

By meeting in person, we can better understand and address the client’s unique needs within their natural environment, fostering a more effective and personalized coaching experience. For clients who prefer or require virtual sessions, we ensure the same level of support and individualized attention.
